Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2027 Texas Nonprofit Summit, presented by OneStar. We’re looking for speakers who are ready to share their expertise, insights, and spark meaningful conversations.

The Texas Nonprofit Summit brings together nonprofit sector leaders, partners, and advocates to connect, learn, and strengthen relationships. The 2027 Summit will take place February 23-25, 2027, in Austin, Texas, at the AT&T Hotel & Conference Center. An estimated 400+ nonprofit leaders, community changemakers, philanthropic leaders, and business partners are expected to attend.

Winning proposals will be chosen according to the following criteria:

• Demonstrates the 2027 Summit theme of Partners In Purpose: Shaping What Comes Next, which highlights the power of collaboration to cultivate lasting impact—rooted in trust, strong relationships, and a shared commitment to people and communities. Designed for those ready to lead with intention and co-create meaningful change, this convening will spark the ideas and connections that shape what comes next. 
• Provides attendees with actionable, meaningful, and relevant information and/or new perspectives.
• Thoughtful, high-level conversations that expand perspectives, elevate strategy, and strengthen the systems that sustain our work. 
• Applicable to attendees representing organizations of any size and across the state of Texas. We are particularly interested in topics relevant to small or grassroots nonprofits and those serving and operating in rural communities.
• Presentations of various lengths, from 15 minutes up to 2 hours, and in a variety of formats, including breakout sessions, workshops, “lightning talks” covering one topic in a short time, and other novel meeting structures. 
• Scalable presentations that can be presented to an audience of 25 to 100. 
• Features an innovative meeting format that is interactive and engaging. Proposals with highly skilled, experienced presenters and/or facilitators will be prioritized. 
• Does not sell or solicit sales for a product or service. (See sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities if you have a product or service to promote!)

We seek presentations that focus on one or more of these three content categories: 

• People & Culture: Content that helps social sector leaders build healthy, community-focused, and resilient organizations. Sessions may focus on leadership, organizational or workplace culture, talent development, board engagement, community engagement, donor relations, succession planning, employee well-being, and creating environments where people and organizations thrive.
• Research & Data: Sessions highlighting recent data and/or research that can strengthen decision-making, drive greater outcomes, and inform strategy, policy, and planning. We welcome sessions on nonprofit metrics, demographic trends, community needs assessments, measuring outcomes, and other research relevant to the sector. 
• Impact & Insights: Presentations offering innovative ideas, practical solutions, and lessons learned that help nonprofits fulfill their mission. Topics may highlight any aspect of nonprofit work, including fundraising/development, financial sustainability, disaster planning and recovery, advocacy, partnerships, communications, governance, public policy, capacity building, scaling and growth, and emerging trends shaping the future of the nonprofit sector.
  

All presenters will receive complimentary registration to the 2027 Texas Nonprofit Summit and will be featured on the Summit website as well as in the printed program.
