SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

OVERVIEW

The 2024 RGV Nonprofit Summit, co-hosted by the UTRGV Nonprofit Resource Center and OneStar, will facilitate learning, foster networking, and encourage collaboration within the nonprofit sector in the Rio Grande Valley. Our conference theme, Threads of Transformation: Weaving Nonprofits for Impact, aims to equip attendees with capacity-building strategies and foster meaningful partnerships within the RGV nonprofit community.

Keynote speakers include Sabrina Walker Hernandez, CEO of Supporting World Hope, and Chris Bugbee, CEO of OneStar. Join more than 200 impact-makers at this exciting one-day event designed especially for the Rio Grande Valley community.

ELIGIBILITY

Individuals from public/social service sectors (i.e., nonprofit & philanthropic organizations, faith-based & community groups, schools/universities, and government agencies) are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Applicants must work for or serve with an organization located in the Rio Grande Valley that serves RGV communities.

We will award scholarships based on need, impact, and available funds. Preference may be given to candidates who work for organizations with operating budgets of $100,000 or less.

Applicants may request scholarships to cover the registration fee and/or lodging at a conference hotel (up to two nights).

The deadline to submit this application is Friday, October 11.

Please do NOT register for the conference prior to being notified of scholarship application status. Applicants will be notified of their status by Friday, October 18.
